Portland AND Oregon is BEAUTIFUL.

By XxIgotsnipexX on May 12th, 2010 at 7:12 am

@klimber1000 Well I do so happen to live in the great north west and when ever i visit portland its kinda smoggy, but that’s just mainly in summer. You’ll know what i mean when you visit the pittock mansion on a pretty clear day

By arsonist1408 on May 12th, 2010 at 7:30 am

i can’t wait to move there.

By klimber1000 on May 12th, 2010 at 7:58 am

@XxIgotsnipexX Smog in Portland? I can’t recall ever seeing smog here in 43 years…. Thanks to all the rain and wonderful green green trees:o)

I forgot to mention the people of Oregon. Words like original, genuine, and color blind come to mind. There is a sense of eccentricity in the citizen of Oregon, but it not a bad way – they have their own way of doing things and a different approach to community. So completely awesome!

Great video! I miss Oregon so much. The video reminds me of the amazing colors and landscape/environment found in Oregon. Oregon is a truly weird place, but it in a good way that I haven’t experienced in the rest of the states. Thanks for posting!

Amazing stuff, made me nostalgic – I love my hometown!

By awwwyeaboyeeee on May 12th, 2010 at 10:09 am

Really wonderful video. I think my only critique is the lack of overcast skies and rain. But otherwise very well represented.

@cplusplusgamer I completely agree with you. One of my questions that i have is how did they manage to get like hardly any smog, but this video was great. I love the art museums

Portland, an enigmatic city, I would like to live here, because here lives my brother and his children.

It’s a beautiful and incredible city!!!!

By cplusplusgamer on May 12th, 2010 at 1:48 pm

I live near Portland and it’s hardly ever like this. If it was summer 100% of the time it would look like that, but Portland and around where I live rains and is shit cold 8 months out of the year.

By runtor1988 on May 12th, 2010 at 2:38 pm

Portland = Best City Ever!

I miss P-Town!!!!

zoozyq2 -But you never told me what do you wanna do about Tibet? Just talk?Who cares?Or are you ready to go to war with China over Tibet? Why pick some stupid topic and talk about it when talk is all it is?

By skylarportland on May 12th, 2010 at 3:26 pm

No, I wouldn’t say it is boring here. We don’t have all the amusement parks you’d find in CA, but we have quite a bit to do here. If you’re into hiking, fishing, mountain climbing, watching the storm surges on the coast as they roll in, and shopping, you wouldn’t find it boring.

Seattle and Vancouver, BC have some things we don’t, and IMO, Spokane isn’t even close to Portland, but we don’t have the traffic Seattle & Vancouver has either.

By skylarportland on May 12th, 2010 at 3:44 pm

yes, this is true. Rarely ever does it rain hard here for longer than a few min at a time. I’ve seen it downpour in TX or UT, and nowhere do we get those sort of downpours here more than maybe a few times a year.

The drizzle is just almost constant over the course of about 8 months straight from late Oct-mid June.

@hhhrolling You are already at war…just look at the violence in your response…be at peace… :-)

By hhhrolling on May 12th, 2010 at 5:23 pm

zoozyq2 ,wtf with this shit “free tibet”?What are you gonna do about Tibet? Go to war against China over couple of monks in Tibet? You`re so fake.

By MrRobertlukethomas on May 12th, 2010 at 5:51 pm

From the UK and visited Portland, really looking forward to going back. The US really can do cosmolitan metropolis when it applies itself!

Great video!–thinking of retiring there…and BTW gc0619–Portland’s stand on Tibet is just one more reason to move there…Yeah! FREE TIBET!!! :-)
